Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a actress, playwright director, producer, playwright and professor of St. Thomas University). Her father hails from Britain and her mother is the "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's early memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mother's her job.
