King Von

KingKing Von was in fact Dayvon Daquan Bennett. He was born in Chicago on the 9th of August 1994 to Walter as well as Taesha. Three siblings belonged to his mother and six of his half siblings come through his dad. His father was often in prison, so Bennett was mostly cared for by his mother. The father of Bennett was murdered and shot when Bennett was 11. At the age of 16, Bennett did his first stint in jail in what was only the beginning of a long series of incidents with the law. Afterward, he got some college credits from South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. To try to reform himself after further legal issues, Bennett began pursuing his professional career in music and collaborating often with fellow rapper Lil Durk.Although "Welcome to O'Block" was the only album that studio Von released during his lifetime the posthumous album "What It Means to be King" made its debut posthumously in March of 2022.
