tito ortiz-1Jacob Christopher is an American mixed martial artist and politician. He currently is a member of the Combate Americas promotion. His stints at the Ultimate Fighting Championship are his most well-known. He was an earlier Light Heavyweight champion and held this title from April 14, 2000 to September 26 on the 26th of September 2003. He was one of the early athletes to be a part of the sport, along with fighters like Randy Couture or Chuck Liddell. Ortiz eventually became the most popular pay-per-view entrant of 2006 because of his fights with Liddell, Forrest Griffin, and Ken Shamrock.Ortiz is the CEO of Punishment Athletics' MMA gear and clothing line, located in his home town of Huntington Beach, California.
